Typical Restorative Grapes and Inspiring Plums Are Insufficient
The Wealthy Boy will ask to see a grape as you speak to him. He will insult you and throw some leaves at you if you offer him a Healing Grape. The orange bubble over his head is still there, thus the mission isn’t finished, as you’ll also observe.
The Rich Boy in Octopath Traveler 1 requesting fruit.
He’ll claim he wants “one of those” when you speak with him again, which is a reference to an Inspiring Plum. If you give it to him, he’ll tell you that you lack autonomy and toss ya a few leaves. You’ll see that the orange bubble is still there.
The cycle must be completed at least once, and if you continue to do it, it will just keep happening. Find out some background information about him, including his father’s residence, by using a path action like scrutinize.
Visit the Canalbrine Church
To locate the father of the wealthy boy, go to the Canalbrine Church. Talk to him to find out that he fears his son will end up being a burden on the community.
In Octopath Traveler 2, locate the father of the wealthy boy and use another action to return him to New Delsta. Talk to the Rich Boy, and follow the plot as it develops.
Rewards for the Bourgeois Boy
The task in Octopath Traveler 1 called Bourgeois Boy.
After you bring him back to show the boy a lesson, you will be rewarded with:
9,000 Sharp Nut Leaves (M)
This young man needs to learn to be more polite, hopefully.
